Godly Play

Christian education for children is held during the first part of the 9 a.m. service after which children join their families for Holy Communion. Grace’s children’s education model is Godly Play, which is a Montessori-based Christian Education curriculum for elementary-aged children. The goal of the program is to teach children the art of using religious language –- parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action –- to help children interpret the spiritual aspects of their daily lives. Children experience the word of God through the elements of prayer, song, The Word, and response.  For more information about Godly Play, go to www.godlyplayfoundation.org.

Bible Study

We offer adult bible study led by Rev. Deb after our Wednesday 10 a.m. service each week. The group decides what we would like to study each season. Sometimes we cover one of the books of the Bible. Other times we read theological and/or spiritual texts like our Presiding Bishop's book on "The Way of Love." All are welcome to join us regardless of whether they have read the text we are studying.
